Read this and loved it so much that I shared it with my team at work. Especially loved the emphasis on valuing the humans around you while using the tools.

> By focusing on AI, you subtly undermine the value of your human partners.

This is a really great point. Although I worry some people might say, "My human partners *aren't* as valuable." 😅

True enough! People have been blocking out the coworkers they don’t value since long before AI.

I love your point on "Thought Partner." For me, it is an amazingly helpful Socratic Sparring Partner, a smart friend that I'm riffing with when no smart friend is around to help. This mentality adds a ton of value while preventing me from looking at it as a know-it-all or God.

Thanks Bob! I'm curious what AI tool you use most often? I've been using the free version of ChatGPT, and I feel like it really wants to product content, but it's harder to get it to dialog about something. It sounds like you've had better success.

I'm just using the Paid Chatgpt 4o. Works for me but I might not be as demanding of it :)

I’ve been hearing that the paid versions are the only way to get that thought partner interactivity, so that tracks. Sounds like it’s time for me to pay up!
